In this article we have described the Reservation critera/policy followed in AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education in PMSSS, Prime Ministers Special scholarship Scheme 2019-20.
The reservation norms as prescribed for the State of J&K in respect of SC, ST and Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC) are followed for providing scholarship under the Scheme. The break-up is given below:-
- a)SC – 8%
- b)ST – 11%
(i) Gujjar & Backward (ii) Leh District (iii) Kargil District (iv) Other ST
- c)Socially and Economically backward classes-25%
(i) Weak & under privileged classes/social caste (OCS)
(ii) Resident of backward area (RBA)
(iii) Resident of adjoining actual line of control (ALC)
